When I was young Muscle Building was the preserve of grotesequely mishapen men with necks wider than their heads and inner thighs that chaffed when they walked.

Thankfully today muscle is accepted as both a necessary and welcome part of an attractive athletic physique (both males and females).

A muscular physique not only helps you look good but can help keep you healthy while making it easier to reduce body fat. A well-designed weights programme will give you added strength as well as a more pleasant aesthetic form. 

Almost as good a comprehensive weights programme will keep you lean meaning you can finally dispense with those tedious hours of repetitive cardio.
